New Platform Cover Sheds Inaugurated at Seven Gujarat Railway Stations

Western Railway officials announced that new platform cover sheds have been installed at seven railway stations in Gujarat. The structures, designed to provide shelter from sun and rain, are expected to improve the travel experience for daily commuters and long‑distance passengers alike. Installation work was carried out over the past few weeks as part of the railways' routine infrastructure upgrade program. Railway authorities said the sheds will also help in better crowd management and reduce the risk of accidents on platforms. The newly covered stations are now fully operational, offering commuters a more comfortable waiting environment.
