New Kailaras‑Birpur railway line enhances Gwalior connectivity

The Indian Railways has inaugurated a new rail segment linking Kailaras and Birpur in Madhya Pradesh. Officials indicated that the addition will shorten travel times for passengers heading to Gwalior and facilitate smoother freight movement in the region. By providing an alternative route, the Kailaras‑Birpur section is also expected to ease congestion on existing lines and support economic activity in surrounding districts.
