Maheshwar’s historic Shri Ram Kuti, a centre that hosts visiting saints and ascetics, has received a new set of guest rooms funded by the Agrawal family. The construction aims to improve accommodation for religious scholars who regularly stay at the facility during pilgrimages and spiritual gatherings.
The project was undertaken in memory of the late Munnibai, a respected figure associated with the local community. The Agrawal family, citing their long‑standing ties to the shrine, financed the entire work as a tribute to her legacy.
During a modest ceremony, the completed rooms were formally handed over to the Shri Ram Kuti Trust. Representatives of the trust were presented with a token of appreciation, and the Agrawal family members were acknowledged for their contribution.
Local devotees expressed gratitude, noting that the upgraded facilities will enable more saints to stay comfortably, thereby strengthening the spiritual atmosphere of the site.
