Hyderabad authorities have inaugurated new bus stops near RTC X Roads to alleviate congestion in the busy junction.
The Telangana transport department opened a pair of modern bus shelters at the RTC X Roads intersection in Hyderabad on Monday. The facilities include covered waiting areas, digital route displays and designated alighting zones for city buses. Officials said the stops are part of a broader plan to streamline passenger flow and reduce vehicle queues at the congested junction.
Traffic engineers highlighted that the new shelters will encourage commuters to use public buses rather than private vehicles, thereby easing the bottleneck that often forms during peak hours.
