Both streaming giants are launching a total of eight new shows and movies on their platforms between 6 and 11 October.
Netflix and Prime Video are set to release eight new titles across their libraries from 6 to 11 October. The slate includes a mix of films, limited‑series and original shows, though the specific titles have not been disclosed in the brief.
The simultaneous rollout underscores the platforms' ongoing effort to refresh content inventories ahead of the festive season, when Indian viewership typically spikes.
Industry analysts view the eight‑title push as part of the broader competition between global OTT players to retain and grow subscriber bases in India.
Subscribers can expect the new offerings to appear in the 'New Releases' sections of the respective apps on the scheduled dates.
