Students seeking MBBS seats in West Bengal, Uttarakhand and Assam can now register for the 85% quota under NEET UG 2026. Registration opens at 10 a.m. IST and will run until the allotted deadline.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Undergraduate counselling for 2026 has commenced today for the 85% quota seats in West Bengal, Uttarakhand and Assam. The registration portal goes live at 10 a.m. Indian Standard Time and will remain open until the deadline specified by the respective state counselling authorities.
Prospective candidates must log in using their NEET scorecard details and complete the online form within the allotted time. The process includes uploading scanned copies of the scorecard, proof of domicile, and other required documents.
Once the registration is submitted, applicants will receive a confirmation email with a unique registration ID. They can then proceed to the counselling stage, where seat allocation will be based on merit and category.
The 85% quota seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and other specified categories, as per the state government norms. The counselling schedules and seat maps are published on the official state websites after the registration window closes.
