The CJP's protest at Jantar Mantar, demanding a rollback of the NEET exam and the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, has entered its ninth day. Activist Sonam Wangchuk has joined the demonstration on a hunger strike.

The Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP) led protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar demanding a CBI inquiry into the NEET-UG exam irregularities and the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has reached its ninth consecutive day.

Joining the demonstration, renowned education reformist and climate activist Sonam Wangchuk has begun a hunger strike. Wangchuk, known for his advocacy for educational reforms, is lending his support to the ongoing protests against the alleged irregularities in the medical entrance examination.

The protest, which commenced on June 21, has seen consistent participation from various stakeholders concerned about the integrity of the examination process. Protesters are demanding accountability and a thorough investigation into the alleged paper leaks and malpractices.
