The New Delhi Municipal Council has introduced three new digital initiatives allowing residents to apply online for birth and death registration, certificate corrections, and adding a child's name.
The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) announced the rollout of three digital services aimed at streamlining routine civic procedures. Residents can now submit online applications for registering births and deaths, eliminating the need to visit the council office in person.
In addition, the council has enabled electronic requests for corrections or modifications to existing certificates, such as name changes or address updates. The third initiative allows parents to add a child's name to official records through the same online portal.
These measures are part of NDMC's broader effort to make municipal services more accessible and accountable, reducing processing times and paperwork for Delhi citizens.
