The Narcotics Control Bureau seized about 990 kilograms of cannabis in Muzaffarpur's Turkipara area and took two suspects into custody for interrogation.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) acted on intelligence and conducted a raid in the Turkipara police jurisdiction of Muzaffarpur, Bihar. During the operation, officers uncovered a large stash of cannabis estimated at nearly 990 kilograms.
The seized narcotic, valued at roughly 2.5 to 3 crore rupees, is believed to be part of a broader trafficking network operating in the region. Officials highlighted the scale of the haul as one of the biggest drug seizures recorded in the state.
Two individuals were apprehended at the scene and are currently in police custody for questioning. The NCB has launched a detailed investigation to trace the source of the shipment and identify any additional accomplices.
