Nauni students in Himachal can now earn Australian university degrees

This development expands the options for local learners seeking internationally recognised qualifications without leaving the state.

Under the arrangement, eligible students can enrol in Australian curricula that are delivered through partnered platforms, with the final degree awarded by the foreign institution upon successful completion. The partnership is expected to streamline credit transfer and ensure that the Indian and Australian academic standards are aligned.

Education officials said the initiative aims to enhance the global exposure of Himachal’s youth and to address the growing demand for overseas qualifications. It also provides a cost‑effective alternative to travelling abroad for higher studies.
