NatStrat, a strategic analysis organisation, published its latest report entitled "After Abeyance: Indus Basin and the New Water Politics". The document became publicly available recently and focuses on the Indus Basin, a transboundary river system shared by India and Pakistan.
The report examines how water politics in the basin have evolved following a period of abeyance, during which formal discussions and cooperative mechanisms were less active. It looks at the factors that have renewed attention on water allocation, infrastructure development and environmental concerns.
