Narmadapuram: 1100‑meter Chunni Offered as Kanda Yatra Begins on Shravan Monday

On the first Monday of Shravan, thousands of devotees set off from Sehtani Ghat in Narmadapuram with a 1100‑meter chunari dedicated to Maa Narmada, carrying holy water toward Pachamadi for the Jatashankar Mahadev Jalabhishek on 10 August.
On the first Monday of Shravan, the Kanda Yatra commenced from Sehtani Ghat in Narmadapuram.
A 1100‑meter long chunari was offered to Maa Narmada by the devotees, symbolising devotion and reverence.
Thousands of kandar participants carried holy water in their pots, proceeding towards Pachamadi for the upcoming ritual.
The devotees plan to perform the Jalabhishek of Jatashankar Mahadev on 10 August, marking the culmination of the pilgrimage.
