Nalanda Hospital Staff Salaries Halted Over Biometric Attendance Breach

The administration of Nalanda Sadar Hospital in Bihar has taken strict action against staff for not logging biometric attendance. Out of 42 employees, salaries of 41 were stopped due to repeated irregular attendance. Only one doctor was found to have maintained a regular attendance record and was exempted from the penalty. The move is intended to enforce accountability and improve attendance monitoring at the hospital.
