Police investigations that began at the MD factory in Nagaur’s Deep Colony have traced a drug supply chain extending to Nagpur and China, leading to the arrest of 13 suspects.

The Rajasthan police launched a probe after a large‑scale drug manufacturing unit was discovered at the MD factory in Deep Colony, Nagaur. Initial inquiries focused on the illegal production of narcotics and the procurement of precursor chemicals.
Investigators uncovered that the operation was not confined to the state. Through online purchases of chemicals and coordination on the messaging app Telegram, the network linked suppliers in Nagpur and extended its distribution channels as far as China.
So far, law‑enforcement agencies have detained 13 individuals alleged to be involved in the manufacturing, logistics and international trafficking of the drugs. Police officials said the arrests are part of a broader effort to dismantle the cross‑border supply chain.
The case highlights the growing use of digital platforms for illicit drug trade and underscores the need for coordinated action across state and national borders.
