The state of Nagaland has officially joined the ‘1 Million Voices on Future Readiness’ initiative, aligning with a nationwide effort to gather public input on future‑readiness policies.
Nagaland announced its participation in the ‘1 Million Voices on Future Readiness’ campaign, a program that seeks to collect one million individual perspectives on how India can prepare for emerging challenges. The move was confirmed by state officials who said the initiative aligns with Nagaland’s own development goals.
The campaign, launched at the national level, invites citizens, institutions and local governments to submit ideas and concerns related to education, technology, employment and other sectors that shape the country’s future. By joining, Nagaland aims to ensure that the unique needs of its communities are reflected in the broader dialogue.
State representatives indicated that the collected inputs will be forwarded to the central coordinating body for analysis and potential inclusion in policy recommendations. The participation underscores Nagaland’s commitment to proactive planning and collaborative nation‑building.
The campaign’s organizers have set a deadline for submissions later this year, encouraging participants across all states to contribute their views.
Nagaland’s involvement is expected to highlight regional priorities such as infrastructure development, skill training and digital inclusion, thereby enriching the national conversation on future readiness.
