A carnivore's skeletal remains were discovered in the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. Initial investigation suggests it could be a tiger. The National Tiger Conservation Authority protocol was followed for the remains.

In a significant discovery, the skeletal remains of a carnivorous animal were found in the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, located in the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh. The remains were discovered during a monsoon patrol in the Tala range of the reserve. The initial investigation suggests that the remains could be of a tiger, although a definitive conclusion will be reached only after further examination. The National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) protocol was followed, and samples were collected for further analysis.
