Muzaffarpur STF, Police Bust Counterfeit Currency Ring, Retired Home Guard Arrested

A Special Task Force (STF) team together with local police conducted a raid in Motipur, a suburb of Muzaffarpur, targeting a suspected counterfeit currency operation. The operation resulted in the seizure of counterfeit notes and the detention of six individuals suspected of manufacturing and distributing the fake currency. Among those taken into custody is a former Home Guard who had retired from service. The authorities said the joint effort was part of an ongoing crackdown on counterfeit money in the region. Further investigations are underway to trace the source of the counterfeit notes and to identify any additional participants in the network.
