Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co. Ltd. has upgraded a 220 kV transmission line to reinforce power supply in the Kalyan and Dombivli areas.
Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Co. Ltd. (MSETCL) announced the completion of a 220 kV transmission line upgrade between Kalyan and Dombivli to improve the reliability of power supply in the region.
The upgrade involved replacing aging conductors and upgrading switchgear to increase the line’s capacity and reduce transmission losses.
MSETCL officials said the enhanced line will support the growing industrial and residential demand in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and help mitigate frequent power shortages.
The project was completed ahead of schedule and is expected to provide a more stable supply to thousands of consumers in the corridor.
