MPSC Postpones October 3 State Services Main Exam Following Protests Over Exam Process

The Maharashtra Public Service Commission has postponed the State Services Main Examination scheduled for October 3 after candidates protested over alleged irregularities in the exam system. The decision aims to address concerns and ensure a fair selection process.
The MPSC announced the postponement on its official website, stating that the move came after widespread demonstrations by aspirants who raised questions about the transparency and conduct of the examination. The commission said it would review the concerns raised and take appropriate steps before rescheduling the test.
Candidates had gathered outside MPSC offices in Mumbai and other cities, demanding a re-evaluation of the question paper and stricter invigilation. Protesters argued that recent technical glitches and alleged leaks had undermined the credibility of the exam.
As of now, the commission has not released a new date for the Main Exam. It said that a fresh schedule will be communicated only after a thorough review of the current exam process and after ensuring that all grievances are addressed.
