The Madhya Pradesh government has announced the transfer of five IAS and four IPS officers, replacing the current collectors and SPs in Sagar and Dewas districts.

The state government of Madhya Pradesh announced a major administrative reshuffle on Tuesday, transferring five Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and four Indian Police Service (IPS) officers. The move replaces the existing collectors and police superintendents in the Sagar and Dewas districts. The decision was part of a routine reallocation of senior officials across the state.

While the names of the transferred officers were not disclosed, the announcement was made by the Home Department and received approval from the Chief Minister’s office. The transfers are expected to take effect from the beginning of the next fiscal quarter.

Officials said the changes aim to bring fresh perspectives to district administration and enhance governance efficiency. The state’s administrative machinery will continue to function without interruption as the new officers assume their roles.
