School education department in Madhya Pradesh is taking strict action against principals who fail to ensure 100% e-attendance for staff. Those approving salary bills without compliance will face suspension.
The School Education Department of Madhya Pradesh has initiated stringent measures concerning the implementation of e-attendance systems in educational institutions. Principals of educational clusters (Sankul) will now face suspension if they approve salary bills without ensuring complete e-attendance for all staff members under their purview.
This directive signifies a firm stance by the department to enforce punctuality and accountability through digital attendance tracking. The move aims to curb discrepancies and ensure that all employees are present and accounted for via the e-attendance portal.
Officials at the district education officer (DEO) and joint director levels will also not be exempt from scrutiny if lapses in e-attendance compliance are observed within their jurisdictions.
