The monsoon season in Madhya Pradesh is expected to witness a surge in activity after a brief period of slowdown. According to the weather department, the districts of Balaghat and Dindori are likely to experience heavy rainfall. In addition to these two districts, 31 other districts in the state may witness thunderstorms and light rain. The monsoon had been inactive for the past nine days, resulting in a 13% deficit in rainfall across the state. The renewed monsoon activity is expected to bring relief to the state's farmers and residents.
