Authorities in Omkareshwar, Madhya Pradesh, partially demolished the dilapidated Rathore Dharamshala using a poclain machine following a debris fall from the adjacent hill. The structure's weakened state posed a risk to pilgrims.

In Omkareshwar, Madhya Pradesh, local administration has taken decisive action to dismantle a portion of the Rathore Dharamshala. The decision was prompted by a recent incident where debris from the hill situated behind the structure collapsed.

Following the debris fall, authorities assessed the condition of the building and found its structure to be severely weakened, likely exacerbated by recent rainfall. The dilapidated state of the dharamshala was identified as a significant safety hazard, particularly for the numerous pilgrims who visit the area.

To mitigate the risk, a poclain machine was deployed to demolish half of the unstable building. This move by the administration aims to ensure the safety of devotees and prevent any potential accidents arising from the compromised structure.
