The Madhya Pradesh AYUSH counselling for the 2026 stray round has opened for choice filling today, with the schedule of important dates now published on Shiksha.com.
Madhya Pradesh’s AYUSH counselling for the 2026 admission cycle entered its stray round today, allowing candidates to submit their course and college preferences. The process, overseen by the state’s Directorate of AYUSH Education, is the second round of seat allocation after the regular round concluded earlier this year.
According to the schedule released on Shiksha.com, applicants must complete the online choice‑filling by the end of the week, after which a merit‑based allotment will be carried out. Eligibility criteria remain unchanged – candidates must hold a relevant undergraduate degree and meet the minimum academic thresholds set by the AYUSH Council.
The stray round offers a limited number of seats that were left vacant after the first round, providing a second chance for aspirants who missed out initially. Successful candidates will receive their allotment results within ten days, after which they must confirm acceptance and complete the fee payment to secure their seats.
Education experts note that timely completion of the choice‑filling is crucial, as the window for the stray round is brief and any delay could forfeit the opportunity to secure a seat in the coveted AYUSH programs.
