The Monitoring Investigation Bureau conducted raids on three locations linked to Satendra Kumar Chaudhary, a supervision engineer of the Bihar Building Construction Department, in Purnia and Patna, as part of a probe into alleged disproportionate assets.
The Monitoring Investigation Bureau (MIB) carried out coordinated raids on three premises associated with Satendra Kumar Chaudhary, who serves as a supervision engineer in the Bihar Building Construction Department. The locations, situated in the cities of Purnia and Patna, were searched under a case alleging that Chaudhary has amassed assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
According to officials, the operation was executed simultaneously to prevent the possible removal or tampering of evidence. Investigators seized documents, electronic devices and financial records that may shed light on the alleged irregularities.
Senior Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) briefed the media, confirming that the raids were part of an ongoing investigation into corruption within the department. He stated that the MIB will continue its inquiry and that any unlawful acquisition of wealth will be dealt with according to law.
