A kitchen fire broke out at the government primary school in Khudia village, part of the Timarni block in Harada, Madhya Pradesh, sending smoke and flames into the classroom area. The blaze quickly threatened a nearby gas cylinder, raising fears of an explosion that could have endangered the 265 children present.

Local officials reported that MLA Abhijit Shah arrived at the scene within minutes and, despite the flames, entered the kitchen to pull the gas cylinder out of the danger zone. His swift action prevented the cylinder from igniting, averting a larger catastrophe.
