Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma presented a CSR-funded ambulance to Lunglei Civil Hospital, enhancing emergency medical services in the region.

On Thursday, the Chief Minister of Mizoram, Lalduhoma, formally handed over a new ambulance funded through corporate social responsibility initiatives to the Lunglei Civil Hospital. The delivery took place at the hospital’s main entrance, where officials and local residents gathered to witness the event.

The ambulance, equipped with modern medical gear and a dedicated team of paramedics, is expected to improve response times for emergencies across the district. It can accommodate up to eight patients and includes life‑support equipment suitable for critical care.

Health officials noted that the addition of the vehicle will help reduce the burden on existing emergency services and provide quicker access to tertiary care facilities. The hospital’s director highlighted the importance of such investments in strengthening rural healthcare infrastructure.

CM Lalduhoma emphasized that the project reflects the state government’s commitment to enhancing public health services through partnerships with the corporate sector. He thanked the CSR partners for their contribution and urged continued collaboration to meet the community’s medical needs.
