Chief Minister Lalduhoma presided over the inauguration of a brand‑new District Collector office building in Siaha, the administrative hub of the southern part of Mizoram. The ceremony was attended by senior state officials and local dignitaries, who highlighted the importance of modernising government premises in remote districts.
The new facility, constructed with state funding, houses offices for the District Collector and related administrative departments. Officials said the upgraded premises will streamline public service delivery, reduce travel time for citizens, and provide a more secure environment for official work.
