Union Minister of State for Defence Kiren Rijiju said there is no evidence that Chinese forces have moved 60 kilometres inside Arunachal Pradesh, dismissing recent claims.

Union Minister of State for Defence Kiren Rijiju publicly refuted reports suggesting that Chinese troops had advanced 60 kilometres into Arunachal Pradesh. He emphasized that the ministry has found no credible intelligence or ground verification to support such an incursion.

The allegation, circulated by some media outlets, implied a serious breach of the Line of Actual Control. Rijiju stressed that any claim of a deep penetration would be reflected in surveillance data and field reports, none of which have been presented.

The defence establishment reiterated its continuous monitoring of the border area and assured that India remains vigilant. Rijiju concluded that the narrative of a Chinese advance is unfounded and urged the public to rely on official statements for accurate information.
