The holy night of Janmashtami saw a wave of conch shells being blown across Mohali as the clock struck twelve. In temples across the city, priests led the traditional shankhnaad, creating a resonant sound that echoed through the surrounding neighborhoods. Simultaneously, many households joined the ritual, with family members blowing conches as part of the midnight prayers dedicated to Lord Krishna.
