Midnight Attack on Indergarh Substation Leaves 3-Lakh Rupee Loss

At midnight on Tuesday, vandals breached the Indergarh 33/11 KV substation, assaulted the on‑site operator and fired four rounds, damaging electrical equipment and the substation's record‑keeping system. The incident caused an estimated loss of ₹3 lakh, according to the power department. Power supply to the surrounding area was temporarily disrupted, affecting homes and businesses. Authorities have launched an investigation and are seeking witnesses to identify the perpetrators.
