Meghalaya Man Arrested in Guwahati for Attempted Theft of Community Dog

Guwahati police arrested a man identified as a resident of Meghalaya in the Basistha neighbourhood on suspicion of trying to remove a community dog. The incident was reported by local residents who noticed the individual attempting to take the animal away from its designated area.
The police said the suspect was apprehended before the dog could be taken and was taken into custody for further investigation.
