The Medical Counselling Committee has begun online registration for the stray vacancy round of the 2026 NEET UG counselling on its portal mcc.nic.in.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced that registration for the stray vacancy round of the 2026 NEET UG counselling is now open. Candidates can log onto the official website mcc.nic.in to submit their applications starting today.
The stray vacancy round is designed to fill seats that become available after the initial round of seat allocation, allowing eligible aspirants another opportunity to secure admission in medical colleges across the country.
Applicants are required to follow the step‑by‑step instructions provided on the portal, upload the necessary documents and verify their details before submitting the form. The MCC has urged candidates to ensure the accuracy of the information to avoid any later discrepancies.
This round forms part of the broader counselling schedule that aims to allocate all remaining MBBS and BDS seats for the 2026 batch. The MCC will release further updates, including the timeline for seat allotment, on the same website.
Prospective students are advised to keep a regular check on mcc.nic.in for any additional notices or changes to the process.
