BSP supremo Mayawati has claimed that the recent municipal elections in Rajasthan were marred by irregularities and that party candidates were forcibly defeated.

Mayawati, the leader of the Bahujan Samaj Party, publicly alleged that the civic elections held in Rajasthan were tainted by procedural irregularities. She asserted that the party's candidates were not defeated on a level playing field but were instead forced out of the contest. The statements were made shortly after the municipal election results were announced, prompting calls for a closer examination of the voting process. No official response from the Rajasthan State Election Commission has been reported yet. The BSP has indicated it may seek legal recourse if the alleged violations are substantiated.
