The Mathematical Thinking Camp held at JNC concluded, marking the end of a program aimed at enhancing students' analytical skills.
The Mathematical Thinking Camp came to a close this week at JNC, an educational institution in Arunachal Pradesh. The short‑term program was designed to foster logical reasoning and problem‑solving abilities among participating students.
Organisers structured the camp around interactive sessions, puzzles and collaborative exercises that encouraged participants to approach mathematics as a creative discipline rather than rote learning. Faculty members and volunteers facilitated the activities, guiding learners through real‑world applications of mathematical concepts.
While the camp’s schedule spanned only a few days, attendees reported increased confidence in tackling quantitative challenges. The concluding ceremony highlighted the importance of sustained exposure to mathematical thinking as a foundation for future academic and career pursuits.
The success of this edition is expected to inform similar initiatives across the region, with plans to replicate the model in other schools and colleges later in the year.
