The Special Task Force (STF) has named Riyal as the chief conspirator in a scheme that involved the acquisition of four counterfeit passports for Bangladeshi nationals. The passports were reportedly obtained through illicit channels within the passport issuing department.
According to STF officials, Riyal leveraged his connections to secure the documents, which were intended for use by Bangladeshi citizens seeking to travel abroad. The passports were found to be fabricated with false personal details and forged signatures.
In response to the discovery, the STF has placed 12 officials on its radar list. These officials are suspected of facilitating the procurement and distribution of the fake documents.
