Two masked bikers stole a woman's purse near Ludhiana's Sahar Market on Friday morning after she withdrew cash from a bank, police are combing CCTV footage.
On Friday morning at around 10:30 a.m., a woman who had just withdrawn money from a bank was heading to a photo studio when she was targeted by two masked bikers near Ludhiana's Sahar Market.
The attackers seized her purse and fled on their motorcycles, leaving the victim shaken.
Police have launched a search of CCTV footage from the market and surrounding streets in an attempt to identify the suspects.
No injuries were reported, and the woman is said to be in a stable condition.
The incident marks the fourth robbery in the market in the past seven days, raising concerns about rising crime in the area.
