BJP MP Manoj Tiwari inaugurated a ‘Gen Z’ Chaupal in Delhi, a forum aimed at connecting with the younger generation.
Manoj Tiwari, a Member of Parliament from the Bharatiya Janata Party, opened a new forum in Delhi labelled a ‘Gen Z’ Chaupal. The gathering, announced under the Delhi Confidential column of The Indian Express, is positioned as a platform for interaction with the country's Generation Z demographic.
The event was held in the capital and marked the first instance of a political figure branding a youth‑focused meeting as a "Chaupal," a term traditionally used for community discussions in North India. Organisers indicated that the format will allow young participants to voice concerns and engage directly with the MP.
Coverage of the launch appeared in The Indian Express, highlighting the initiative as part of a broader effort by politicians to reach out to younger voters ahead of upcoming electoral cycles.
