Bidar: Due to insufficient monsoon and deficient post-monsoon rains, farmers in Bidar district are witnessing withering and drying of their crops. Observing the distress faced by the agricultural community, District Collector Shilpa Sharma and Joint Director of the Agriculture Department conducted a crop survey with farmers in Manma E Kheli village of Chitaguppa taluk.
During the visit, they assessed the extent of crop damage and assured the farmers that a detailed report on crop loss would be submitted to the government to facilitate appropriate relief measures.
