The Manipur State Election Commission has made available a searchable database of 158,677 electors removed from the 2026 draft SIR electoral rolls. Users can filter by constituency, name, EPIC number, related person or booth.
The Manipur State Election Commission (MSEC) has launched a new online tool that lets voters and officials search the 2026 draft State Information Register (SIR) for electors who have been deleted. The database lists 158,677 individuals who were removed from the rolls, a significant number that could impact upcoming elections.
Users can narrow their search by selecting an Assembly constituency and then entering a name, EPIC number, related person’s name or booth identifier. The tool is designed to increase transparency and allow citizens to verify whether they have been mistakenly removed.
The MSEC said the move is part of its efforts to ensure the accuracy of the electoral rolls ahead of the next state elections. The database is accessible through the official MSEC website and can be downloaded in PDF format for offline review.
