Manipur's Chief Minister N. Biren Singh addressed the public, warning that frequent shutdowns and road blockades cause economic loss and inconvenience to ordinary citizens. He emphasized that while the right to protest is constitutionally protected, it must be exercised within the framework of law and democratic norms.
The CM urged political parties, civil society groups and ordinary residents to channel their grievances through peaceful rallies, petitions and dialogue with authorities rather than resorting to disruptive tactics.
