Mandi Weightlifting Association Appoints New Chief

The Mandi district weightlifting association announced today that it has installed a new chief to lead its operations. The appointment was made during a meeting of the association's executive committee, and the decision was communicated to athletes and coaches across the district.
The newly appointed chief is expected to oversee training programs, organize local competitions, and coordinate with state-level authorities to secure better facilities and funding.
Officials said the change in leadership comes as part of a broader effort to revitalize weightlifting in Mandi, a region that has produced several promising athletes in recent years. The association hopes the new chief will bring fresh ideas and stronger administrative support to nurture talent and improve performance at national events.
