Manawar Police Seal Forgery: Suspect Arrested, Fake Certificates and Dell Laptop Seized

Police in Manawar, Madhya Pradesh, arrested a man for forging a police seal to produce counterfeit character certificates and recovered the seal, copies of certificates and a Dell laptop.
Manawar police in Madhya Pradesh have taken into custody a suspect accused of forging the official police seal to create fraudulent character certificates. The arrest was made after investigators traced the counterfeit documents back to the individual, who allegedly used the forged seal to lend credibility to the certificates.
During the raid, officers recovered a rubber police seal bearing the name and phone number of the Manawar police station, along with photocopies of various certificates that the suspect had prepared. In addition, a Dell laptop and its charger were seized, which are believed to have been used to design and print the forged documents.
Authorities said the case highlights a growing trend of document fraud in the region and warned that such counterfeit certificates could be used for illegal employment or admission processes. The police have forwarded the evidence to the district crime branch for further investigation and possible prosecution under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
