Man who killed wife and daughters arrested in Reengus after fleeing to Khatu Shyam Temple

Three days after the brutal killing of his wife and three daughters in Jaipur, the accused fled the city and sought shelter at the Khatu Shyam Temple, a popular pilgrimage site in Rajasthan. Sources say he stayed overnight in a hotel near the shrine before attempting to evade law enforcement.

Investigators from the Jaipur police department traced his movements through hotel records and local witnesses, leading them to the small town of Reengus in the Sikar district. On Saturday, a police team apprehended the suspect without incident and took him into custody.

The police have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and that forensic teams are processing evidence from the crime scene. The accused will be presented before a court in Jaipur, where he faces charges of murder and criminal conspiracy.
