A resident named Mewa Lal died after being electrocuted in water when heavy rain struck Nayagaon on Friday morning.
Nayagaon, Punjab – On Friday morning, heavy rain caused waterlogged streets to become electrified, leading to the death of a local man identified as Mewa Lal. The victim had stepped out at around 5 a.m. to report for duty when he encountered the electrified water.
