Man dies after slipping into Dabra River at Jafarpur, Saran

Ram Nath Singh, 40, slipped into the Dabra River while at the riverbank in Jafarpur, Saran on Thursday evening and was found dead the following day, leaving his wife and children in mourning.
Ram Nath Singh, a 40‑year‑old resident of Jafarpur village in Saran district, went to the banks of the Dabra River on Thursday evening to relieve himself. While standing on the muddy shore, his foot slipped and he fell into the fast‑moving water.
Local police and villagers launched a search operation soon after the incident, but the strong current hampered rescue attempts. Singh's body was recovered the next morning by a team of volunteers and police officers.
The tragic loss has left his wife and two children devastated. Neighbours reported that the family is struggling to cope with the sudden bereavement and are seeking support from the community.
