Maharashtra to Launch Military Training for School Students, Says Education Minister

The Maharashtra government has announced that a military training program for school students will commence soon, according to Education Minister Dadaji Bhuse. The initiative aims to incorporate basic military drills and discipline into the school curriculum across the state. Bhuse said the program will be rolled out in phases, beginning with pilot schools in select districts before expanding statewide. Officials expect the training to enhance students’ physical fitness, teamwork and civic responsibility.
