Maharashtra Students End 10-Day Protest After Tukaram Mundhe Appointment

The 10‑day protest by Maharashtra students, which began earlier this month, was called off after the state authorities announced the appointment of Tukaram Mundhe to a key role. The students had been demanding reforms in the education sector, and the decision to bring Mundhe on board was seen as a response to their concerns. Following the announcement, student leaders agreed to end the demonstrations and return to their regular activities. The protest concluded peacefully, with students resuming classes and campus life.
