Former FDA official Tukaram Mundhe has denied claims that he was transferred from the Food and Drug Administration before being appointed to a Maharashtra Public Service Commission panel.

Tukaram Mundhe, a former official of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), has publicly denied allegations that he was transferred from the agency before his recent appointment to a panel of the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC).

In a statement released to the press, Mundhe said, "I have not been transferred from FDA," rejecting claims that his move was part of a political reshuffle.

The MPSC panel, which is responsible for recruiting civil servants in the state, announced Mundhe’s appointment earlier this month, sparking debate among political observers and civil society groups.

Mundhe’s denial comes as the state government faces scrutiny over the selection process for key administrative positions, with critics questioning the transparency and fairness of appointments.
