Maharashtra Food Authority Seizes 675 kg of Food Products in Nanded

The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration conducted a raid in Nanded on Tuesday, confiscating 675 kg of food items worth Rs 2.9 lakh. The seized goods included a range of packaged food products that were found to be non‑compliant with safety standards.

Officials said the operation was part of an ongoing crackdown on illegal food distribution in the region. The seized items will be inspected further and, if found to be unsafe, may be destroyed or recalled.
